Meet Dr. Juliana Derksen

Juliana Derksen, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from The Ohio State University in 2001 and earned her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University. After graduating from Ohio State and moving around the country for a few years, Dr. Derksen settled in New Jersey with her own business for 17 years. In 2021, she moved back to Ohio and began working at Comprehensive Eye Care in Springfield.

Dr. Derksen provides comprehensive care to patients of all ages, specializing in primary eye care and treating red eye, ocular diseases, and dry eye. Having poor eyesight as a child inspired Dr. Derksen to become an Optometrist. She says her favorite part of being an Optometrist is interacting with and forming relationships with patients to help improve their vision and quality of life.

When not treating patients, Dr. Derksen enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
